Has ARMIS been tested?
Yes, both on the road and in real blowouts. ARMIS has been road tested for seven years and over 50,000 miles in cross-country trips from Florida to Montana, and the best (worst) road any department of transportation can produce. One owner who had a blowout in an extremely long and narrow construction zone ran a blowout for 5 miles at highway speed and came away with no damage to the RV.

Real blowout: highway speed, zero damage. An Armis customer drove at highway speed for miles with a blowout, unable to stop. The RV had zero damage, not even to the expensive trim above the tire.
Heat testing. No measurable change in tire temperature versus the towing truck's tires over 50,000 miles.
Each stop for fuel we use an infrared laser reader to take readings. The only variation was the sunny side versus the shaded side, but the truck tires are always within +/-10 degrees as the trailer tires.
Questions on this page
Does ARMIS actually stop blowout damage? In a real highway-speed blowout, the RV had no damage; the repair was a new tire and four bolts.
Is there video of ARMIS in a blowout? Stay tuned.. we're actively producing the most comprehensive of all blowout test.
